The Marathon Continues: Miami Project, Art Miami and the Cheese of France

After lunch we headed over to the design district in Wynwood for Miami Project and Art Miami.  The amount of tents and people and traffic and crazy can only be compared to an art circus.  To give you an idea of how many fairs are going on in Miami during Arts Week, I offer up this map as a visual aid.

The newest of the Miami fairs, Miami Project is proving to be a beautiful venue that is gaining a reputation for excellent dealers.

We noticed a number of artists who are incorporating money into their work:

Next stop: Art Miami, the oldest fair in Miami is huge with over 300 galleries and includes a very eclectic selection of galleries and is always packed!

Hanging out with LA artist, Kelly Reemsten and her dealer (and our friend) Christine Schefman of David Klein Gallery, Birmingham, Michigan.
Art Girls are big fans of her work.

Herr Nilsson's booth of contemporary Disney characters made an amusing commentary about cross culturalization and women.  It seems these princesses have issues.  Are we seeing a theme?

And on this note, we moved onto the Cheese of France tent...yes, you read that right.  We have absolutely no idea what cheese has to do with art but we went with it.  Turns out French cheese (and butter) is DELICIOUS!!!  "French Cheese - Every Day Perfect!"
