After a bit of early-morning drama with American Airlines at LAX, the Art Girls made their triumphant return to Miami for Art Basel, 18+ satellite art fairs, private collection tours, museum exhibitions, and whatever other adventures that may come our way. Our first stop - the vernissage (opening party) for Art Basel Miami. We had one VIP pass, which admits two people, and a special vernissage ticket, which, as it turned out, was for the June 2012 fair in Basel, Switzerland (and no use to us here in Miami). Embarrassed but not discouraged, we talked our way into another ticket. Art Girls' mojo working!
