Safari Story 2 - The Flat Tire

You're not truly on safari until your car breaks down in the bush.  One of our land cruisers blew a tire while off-roading on the banks of the Mara River.  

Our guides, Joseph and Collins, get to work changing the tire.

Surprisingly, our guides permitted us to disembark from the vehicles and wander around.  In doing so, we stumbled upon a pod of gigantic hippos moving upstream.

Note the wildebeest carcass in the background - a casualty of the great migration.

And then, in true Art Girls fashion, we posed for a group picture.
