Giraffe Manor (Sealed with a Kiss)

After our visit with the orphan elephants, we sought out the friendly giraffes at nearby Giraffe Manor. Rumor had it that one is able to kiss a giraffe, and I was determined to obtain the perfect photograph of a giraffe smooch! Success! Giraffe Manor is also home to a sounder of warthogs.

To add to our full day, we visited the home of Karen Blixen.  My fellow Karen is the author of "Out of Africa." As preparation for our journey to Kenya, the movie "Out of Africa" was required watching.  Through the film, we fell in love with Kenya even before setting foot in the country.
